This seemingly inoffensive clutch master cylinder almost caused all sorts of nonsense!
Customer was told by a roadside assistance company that the clutch was condemned and had the vehicle recovered.
A garage then quoted around £700 to fix it.
The customer asked us to take a look and we found that the master cylinder actuation rod had snapped.
No clutch failure 
We replaced the master cylinder, bled the system then road tested the vehicle and problem solved! 
We saved the customer over £500 and completed the works without her having to leave home
